Cancel a subscription
You can do it yourself, right now, without asking us
The only thing on this website that renews is a town banner advertising subscription. If you have one, you can stop it yourself in under a minute.
You will be asked for the email address you used, and sent a link that signs you in. There is no password.
What happens when you cancel
- You are not billed again. Canceling stops the next payment and every one after it.
- Your banner keeps running until the end of the month you have already paid for. You do not lose the time you have bought.
- After that the town goes back on sale and your banner is replaced by the placeholder.
- Fees already paid are not refunded, including for any part of a month left when you cancel.
- You can advertise in that town again later if it is still free.
You can also cancel inside PayPal
If you would rather not sign in here, you can cancel from your own PayPal account, under automatic payments. That works too: PayPal tells us, and we stop the banner and release the town exactly as if you had done it here.
Claimed a listing? There is nothing to cancel
Claiming or adding a groomer listing is a one-time fee, not a subscription. It does not renew, and nothing further is ever charged, so there is nothing running that needs stopping.
If you want the listing itself taken down, or the information on it removed, ask us and we will do it. You can also sign in at manage your listing and clear what you have added.
Only paid for something once?
Then it was not a subscription. The only recurring charge we make is the monthly town banner. If you are seeing a repeating payment you do not recognize, tell us with the date and amount and we will find it and stop it.
If you cannot get into that email address
The sign-in link goes to the address the subscription was bought with, which may not be the one you use day to day.
Cancel inside PayPal instead. That is your own account, you need nothing from us to do it, and it stops the payment just as completely. It is the fastest route if the email address is out of reach.
If neither works, contact us and we will sort it out. We will ask you to confirm you are the account holder first. That is not us making you jump through hoops: a town banner is one advertiser at a time and first come first served, so we are not going to cancel somebody's subscription and free up their town because an email arrived asking us to.
You will never have to phone anyone, wait for office hours, or give a reason for canceling.
